Every release carries previous (last time), forecast (what the market expected) and actual (what was measured). They relate exactly:
(actual − previous) = (forecast − previous) + (actual − forecast) measured change projected move projection error
vs previous scores the full measured change — an anticipated improvement is still an improvement. vs forecast scores only the projection error — it ignores any move the market saw coming. blend adds them, which double-counts the projection error; kept here for comparison.
